Doolin is located just north of the Cliffs of Moher. Known for its traditional Irish music, it has started to gain renown by surfers for its waves as well.

Cliffs of Moher are situated on the west coast in county Claire. The name comes from an old tower, that was demolished in 1808 so they could build a telegraph tower.
