Dingle is a small town located on the southern shore of the Dingle Peninsula. It has about 2000 residents, and has been a major fishing port since the 1830s.
Conor Pass is the highest mountain pass in Ireland at over 400 meters. Looking from the pass provides an excellent view of the Dingle Peninsula. From this view you can almost see where St. Brendan purportedly started his journey.
